Is there anything you can do about Blocks? I'm 16 and I have Autism so I don't know if that has anything to do with my stuttering blocks. but ever since I was 5-6 I started stuttering and I had the prolongation form to where I would be like "mmmmyyy" but than It went away when I was like 8 and than the speech issues came back when I was like 10 and I had Repitions, but than when I was like 14 it started coming in Blocks and Pauses, to where I know what I wanna say but I just can't say it I just get stuck like somebody hit pause on me. I sometimes get blocks when I talk to my friends and family, and it makes communication very difficult for me and it causes me to avoid social interaction sometimes out of anxiety I'll embarrass myself, my friends know that I have speech problems but it's still embarrassing everytime I try to talk to them and I get Blocked and stuck, it's a nightmare when it comes to ordering food and talking on the phone with like customer support or my doctor. I can never get my words out and it's so hard to communicate. That's why I let my mom do all the Talking for me instead. I just wish there was something I could do about these speech blocks. Does anyone know any effective method I could use?
