I suppose having people who try to hide the fact they're laughing at you is the biggest problem. It's like they think they're being considerate whilst still being an insensitive dick. The most useful thing you can do is to treat them the same you would anybody fluant. We're not different, we say the same things you do just a bit more slowly.
