This has happened to me at almost every job I've had. I'm not taken seriously because of my stutter, and it stinks. It really keeps us from doing things like standing up for ourselves because of the reaction we get. I agree that people who truly judge you for your stutter don't deserve your respect, but sometimes in certain situations, you can't help me be around those people and answer to them. It's very difficult and I feel your pain.
