Increase in stuttering My daughter, 7, has had an inconsistent stutter since she was 5. It was always with the first syllable. I I I I want something. MMMMY foot hurts...those type of things. But it didn't happen all the time and some times it would stop completely for awhile. But for the last week, we have noticed it getting worse. Today, she couldn't get the word message out. It took a while, but it finally came out. She does repeat the first syllable a lot more lately as well. Is this something I should be concerned about? I will reach out to the SLP in her school. S As a side note, she was in speech from age 2 to age 5, but the stutter came after speech. I did reach out to the SLP a year ago and she met with her and didn't notice anything then. Any help would be appreciated.
