Oh I agree with this. Not just by seeing their reaction, but I think my stuttering forced me to read people fast. I guess I always felt I was the easiest one to pick at, so I felt the need to be on everyone's good side. By spending an enormous amount of energy on fitting in everywhere, not disagreeing to much with anybody and reflect their interests etc, I now can fit in everywhere like a chameleon, all types of people. Everybody likes me, I mean 100%. I don't say this like it's a great thing, it just reflects my insecurities, but it does come with some upside :)
