The answer is yes and no. It's not meant to be used full time and is far from a miracle product. If used everyday, your brain eventually gets used to it and your fluency goes back to normal. For occasional use it works ok but definitely not 100%. A very important note is how annoying it is. It feels incredibly unnatural. Personally, I used it a couple times and then left it in the junk drawer. Try before you buy.
