I’d love to read more essays and books about stutter, the only essay I’m familiar with is “The Monster Study”by Wendell Johnson, which I feel explains my situation partially. My stutter got cemented after my parents keeps screaming at me “don’t you stutter”and being labeled as a stutter by others. It doesn’t explain how and why it starts to begin with
