Mine isn't bad enough to have to get disability, but I can empathize with you. I used to give recorded class presentations in middle school and in high school was mocked and made fun of constantly. I just try and remind myself now as an adult that it matters to me way more than anybody else. No one honestly cares that you stutter, they all have their own issues to worry about. Also I'm pretty sure jobs can't turn you down (most of them at least) because you have a speech impediment... Best wishes...btw I'm 31 and still can't say my name on the phone. You're in good company :)
