Do you have kind of micro depressions when you stutter?
Content
Do you have kind of micro depressions when you stutter? You just about to start or already talking to someone, having good mood and then a wild block or stutter appears. Time slows down, you become aware of block happening, avoid an eye contact, sadness settle down and you start thinking. Brain working at 110% full throttle and you can't decide if you should continue to fight through or change the word or kinda bail out if that's possible. We still talking a milliseconds here, you feel like Bradley Cooper in Limitless, limitless looser. So you decide to fight through, trying hard to push words out while being careful to not faint or choke yourself from the pressure. You start noticing weird arm or finger movement, tapping or whatever that helps you say the word and also that micro depression is at its peak. You finally get it out, it's been actually seconds, but you fight through it. You fought with that one word that doesn't matter and came out as a half winner that nobody care about, exhausted and ready to fight another battle because you have to finish sentence you started. Even if you finish the sentence without stutter and recover from micro depression it still can be a lot at the end of the day... whether you win or lose the fights you still live to fight another day.
