Hi. My son also has speech apraxia (motor processing issues with speech). This displayed itself before the stuttering. I don't recall babbling delay, but he didn't say his first words until after 3. Meaningful communication was around 4 or so. FWIW I also had a speech delay as a baby. Are you in the US. Have you discussed the lack of babbling to the pediatrician? Also, you may want to start looking into the process of starting early intervention. Your baby may be a little young but speech service take a long time to get because it's the most "popular".
