Met my current wife when we were both sixteen and we've been together for the past ten years. It's never been an issue and she's always been patient and supportive. She's so cool about it that very early on in the relationship I used to make fun of myself as a way to cope with my insecurities and she would never laugh at my bad jokes, cause according to her she didn't think my stuttering was funny at all to her. I do admit we've been through some rough patches and we almost broke up a couple years ago, and I did wonder at the time if I would ever find any girl as understanding as her lol but that's a question for another time if it ever actually comes up.
