I am now in the same Situation as you mentioned i am in my 20s and stutter has been affecting me the most, and the emotional block is there, it’s affecting my life and my present, the only way we can get through this is i think on our own by our own minds and finding success, i am currently seeing a psychologist and it’s been really helpful they focus on emotional aspects of us stutters and try to improve that our emotional part as they say stuttering is just a symptom and it’s cause is way deeper, for example It May be due of all the emotional damage and problems you had once in your life and due to which you initially started to stutter, you should definitely see a psychologist. I have also done speech therapy, it didn’t help me at all,i Don’t know it’s different for everyone, you should go for speech therapy too it may help you, It May be because speech therapy does not do anything about mental aspects and mental blocks which are main causes of stutter, It just focuses on physical aspects.
