Amazon Job interview I just finished my final round with Amazon. The first two interviewers were great—really helpful and seemed to like my answers. The last interviewer was tough. I stuttered the most with her, and she didn’t smile or acknowledge it when I brought it up. At the end, she said, ‘Regardless of the outcome, you should be proud of yourself for making it this far.’ Should I be annoyed by that comment? Does it mean I probably won’t get the job? I put in so much research to make sure I sounded knowledgeable.” Your frustration is understandable, but try not to read too much into her reaction. Some interviewers are just more reserved, and her comment could mean anything—it might even have been genuine encouragement. You gave it your best, and that’s what matters.
