I can definitely relate to those feelings after graduation. Something I wish I knew about sooner are stuttering support groups. Joining my local National Stuttering Association chapter and going to meetings and meeting other people who stutter played such a big role in my comfort and acceptance with my speech. Just being able to hang out with people who are going through or went through the same thing was so powerful. Check out https://westutter.org/chapters/ and see if there is a group in your area. The avoidance reduction therapy being advocated by others is also something you may want to look into. Also don't discount finding a good therapist in your area to discuss and work through some of these issues. Best of luck to you! The water is fine on the other side!
