Do not try to hide it. In fact, mention it in the first conversation you have with everyone you meet. Nothing fancy, just “I have a stutter”. Pursue your interests and behave as if you don’t have a stutter. Join clubs, accept invites to parties and functions, strike up conversations with people (and keep conversations going when they’re struck up with you). In other words, do not let your speech dictate what you do. Even though college is a much more chill, relaxed and inviting vibe than high school, I know how intimidating this can still sound. It was for me; I spent a good deal of my freshman year holed up in my dorm room. But you just gotta do it! You only get your freshman year once, and you will regret not taking advantage of it while you’re there.
