I tried out Asenapine, which is a similar atypcial antipsychotic, but unfortunately I could only try it out twice because the akathisia was just too debilitating. Similarly but with fewer restlessness, I also tried out tiapride (which blocks D2 and D3 dopamine receptors). Unfortunately, I did not feel any real effects on stuttering in the short test time. I probably would have to take it longer to make a statement about it’s effectiveness. But since everyone’s neurophysiology is different, it is definitely worth a try.
