What you describe seems like blocks which is a type of stuttering. I think you have stuttering probably a mild one. Also, repeating a sentence triggers stuttering in most people who stutter. For the speech therapy, it never helped me. I tried multiple therapist. But for some people, it helps. You can give it a try.
