Wow, that's unbelievable, especially for an adult. I make kind of weird faces when I stutter too and people often think they're funny or dumb looking. If I hadn't been too shocked I probably would have just walked away too. Those are the times you think back on for years afterwards and wish you could have said the perfect thing to make them feel bad.
