In my opinion, a lot of people get hung up on the word "cure". If I'm able to exist in society like a normal person without anybody knowing that I stutter, I'm happy. If I have to learn to use some speech tools to manage the occasional block here and there, that's completely fine by me. I'm one of those people who has seen a lot of progress in my speech by taking a recommendation shared in this community, so I'm glad that someone did share this piece of "misinformation".
