Mine is less triggered when I know what I am going to say in advance. I have discovered that if I know what I am going to say in advance, my stammering is reduced. An example is in team stand ups (I’m a software developer), if I write down my stand ups and use it as a prompter, I stammer less. However, if I don’t write it down, my stuttering gets worse. Another example is interviews. If I am asked a question that I didn’t plan an answer for, I become very nervous and stammer a lot. Is anybody else’s like this?
