Progress. Short story. I've worked a my job for a little over 6 years. There's a guy who comes in every few days. I came in today and said this to me before he left. "Hey Running\_noodles, I forgot to tell you the other day. I remember when you first started working here. You're stutter was really bad you could hardly get through the order. I could tell you were nervous. Now your stutter is basically gone." I thanked him and told him that his words meant a lot to me. The whole reason I started my job 6 years ago, was because I wanted a job that was going to force me to talk even though I was going to be hard for me. Now that I am looking to leave that job with in the next month, having someone validate all the hard work I put in at that job to speak fluently one day feels really nice. Especially right before I take my leave.
