Ugh, I'm sorry you have to go through this. My last Spanish project (10% of the grade) was a final conversation (aka speaking) so I can see the stress behind the stuttering part. My suggestions are to tell your teacher first of all. Depending on your relationship w/ them this might be difficult but it'll help knowing someone watching knows why you are actually stuttering (i.e. not just nerves). If you can get a parent, another teacher, principal, counselor, etc. to vouch for the authenticity of your stutter that might help. I will also suggest telling the class. I typically make it chill like " Before I start, I just want to let y'all know that I do have a speech disorder so I might stutter. You might hear it, you might not it's kind of weird like that. To begin......" I would say speech disorder (even if you don't have one diagnosed) bc more people say "I also have a stutter!" compared to "I also have a speech disorder." Lastly, don't forget to practice. This is necessary for everyone and might even be more necessary for us, unfortunately. Good luck!
