I was a personal trainer for 3 years , one thing I realized, it depends how you treat it. If you’re weird and awkward about it , people will be too , but if you kinda brush it off or even joke about it , it won’t be that serious. Just focus on helping others, and if you can get out of a commercial gym as soon as you get a few clients, you’re basically 90% sales person , 10% trainer.
