Note that some stuttering traits are found in non-stutterers as well, just not on the same scale (or with the same impact). You may not stutter at all, but just exhibit a higher than usual rate of these traits. And if it's just a matter of not being able to find the right word, that doesn't sound like stuttering at all. That just sounds like a vocabulary matter (word selection). Of course, I'm not trying to undermine your statement, I'm just trying to add some perspective. Tell me more about the instances where you've experienced your problems. Maybe it's something else entirely.
