I block a lot too and have a hard time with it. Been working on it for a long time now. We block because we're already to stutter on the disfluent sound, but we still want to move forward so we're caught in a lock. I struggle with this a lot too, but I have had periods where I've been able to get sound into blocks. You won't be able to do this on any hard or even medium situations most likely. But in the less scary situations, I work on making the sound on afraid of and blocking on. I want to stutter on that sound, because that means on it and I am able to move forward. I'm beyond the block. This is still very hard to do, but focus on hitting the sound you fear and stuttering in it like you're supposed to.
