I used to hate it. Now I’m in my late twenties I find these kind of experiences to be a really fascinating human experience. Like, a listeners initial reaction when I struggle to speak gives me such a quick insight into who they are as a person - the fascination shadows my own anxiety. It’s still annoying to block, but I just don’t give a shit anymore. It’s freeing.
