Gonna start a new temporary job soon, as a call center employee. This is my first post btw. I've been using reddit for a few years now but somehow never took the time to look up a stutter subreddit.. well, i'm glad i did now. And i'm so happy this subreddit exists! I guess me starting this job soon is what made me look for it, since i'm getting kinda nervous about it all. I don't stutter as much as i used to as a kid, i'm not sure what helped me tho. I used to go to speech therapy a lot, but for me stuttering is something that will be with me for the rest of my life. And as much as i am anxious i am also excited to begin this job just to see how well i will perform and it's good for me to try something that i'm really scared of doing. It's probably not gonna be long phone calls since it's just gonna be people calling in to make a appointment, and i really hope it's just gonna be that for the time being, lol. I wonder if there are more people here with a call center like job?
