Oh. I don't pretend to do science here. I called it a theory because it's my current guess of how it works. It's based purely on intuition, since I have no scientific framework to build on and I'm quite aware it's most likely false, but it's all I've got. You could say anyone's world-view is just a scaffolding made of such little theories, inferences of how things, people, relationships work. Like my "theory", they can never be 100% right and every once in a while get shattered just to be replaced by some more stable, mature ones as we progress through life. As for experimenting... I'm not really comfortable not understanding my stutter, as it's this massive thing that has shaped me into the person I am today. It's worth taking a calculated risk... but it's not like I'm careless. All that I know, all that I am, all my professional skills and knowledge exist in my brain... I'd never be too reckless to endanger it, that's like my worst nightmare.
