Starting a first job is hard for anyone, unfortunately more so for a person who stutters. If you get stuck, I suggest that you let people know what is going on. I found out that before I was open and honest about my stutter, people assumed I was drunk or something! I ended up losing jobs because people made their minds up about me and that was that. First impressions unfortunately stick with us. But, when you tell people that you stutter they are usually nice about it. I also work in IT BTW, I've been a developer for 20 years.
