Do you think stutterers who are more attractive get treated better?
Content
Do you think stutterers who are more attractive get treated better? I would think this is true for stuttering because it seems like with most disabilities, they are romanticized when someone attractive has them. For example, an attractive person with autism is seen as quirky and free spirited, while an unattractive person with autism is seen as creepy and weird. I have also noticed that a lot of stuttering awareness influencers are very attractive, and they all seem to have very active love lives and social lives. What are your experiences with this? Have you noticed a difference between how more attractive stutterers are treated?
