Letting it go indeed works significantly for me in my case. I let my stuttering go(namely not giving fk about it) during 2016-2020 then I found out my stuttering was really nearly gone and I could say I talked nearly like a normal speaker, and I didn't have stuttering anticipations back then. I'd say in my case the psychological component of stuttering is dominated and cognitive therapy/strategy is the best way out for me.
