I think speech therapy is BS. It never worked for me but I also went through it back in the late 80s and 90s. The only thing that worked for me was getting a job that exposed me to people. I had a job to do and I needed money. I went from barely being able to talk to, I’d say 90% fluency. I became a people greeter at Walmart. I had to talk. People asked me questions and I got treated like shit on a daily basis. Made me realize how much of my life I wasted being worried what these random people thought of me when most of them wouldn’t care if you dropped dead.
