I gave some interviews for my internship and everytime they asked me, "tell me your weakness and strengths" I was always upfront about my stuttering and told them how I deal with it honestly. After 9 interviews only 1 was kind enough to offer me the job so I guess if you're qualified for the job you should just tell the employer about the problem and they'll probably give you a backend job which doesn't involve to much interaction with people.
