I also block, sometimes for 10+ seconds, and what I learned is that the people who don’t stick around to listen to what you have to say despite the blocks are not people you wanna be associating with anyways. When it comes to casual encounters like ordering at a restaurant and a server gets snarky bc of a stutter or block, just don’t tip lol.
