Hey! I think that’s most of our cases. I’m actually an SLP student and want to specialize in stuttering, and singing and not stuttering is completely normal (has to do with brain signals). I think also anxiety contributes to it - not to say that we have anxiety problems - but people stutter more in novel and unsure situations, thus this can be affected by a lower self-esteem. I have a mild stutter (some say they can’t even hear it) but it is noticeable when I have to present in front of the class or like if I talk to someone 5-10 minutes before a final exam sorta thing.
