Yes I was pulled over a couple years back for an improper turn. The officer seemed to think I was lying when I struggled to say my name until I gave him my ID it. I was tense and struggled to physically answer his questions which led to the officer asking me if I had been drinking. I said “no” while stuttering and he didn’t seem convinced. Fortunately, he didn’t pursue it further but it was a horrible, anxiety-inducing experience. I think I would try to explain my stutter if this happened again but I worry I’d stutter so much I wouldn’t even be able to verbally explain it to the officer.
