does the frequency of your stutter change with different people?

does the frequency of your stutter change with different people? so i’ve always had a stutter and i still struggle with it often. recently i’ve realized when i speak to my partner i don’t stutter as often. if i do it’s some repetition and light blocks in contrast to heavy blocks. do other people realize things like that? is that normal to have different stuttering frequencies based on the people you are speaking to?
