I’m getting a speech therapist I went to the doctors about a month ago and I told him all about my stutter. He referred me to a speech therapist but the therapist he referred me to is the speech and language therapist for my school. I know I should be feeling happy that I can just get my sessions at school but the therapist is going to have to come into my classes to assess me and to see when I stutter the most. I don’t want her to come at all because I don’t want the attention and I don’t want anyone else thinking there’s something wrong with me. Why can’t I just tell her about it instead? Why can’t she just take my word for it? Sorry I know I sound pathetic
