Realities of teaching I have just turned 30. My background is civil engineering and flood defence work. I am looking at a career change and have been told by numerous people I may make a good teacher. I’m not getting too far in to anything serious at the moment, but wandered if anyone here is a teacher and how they find it having a stutter? EDIT: Thanks all. Have been dipping my toe looking at applications to understand them this evening. Also there’s a massive bursary for those looking to teach physics in the UK as we are really short on STEM teachers.
