Why would they be unfamilar with a disability that is one of the common disabilites according to speech pathologist. A disability that roughly 3.7 million Americans have? Sorry I know you are right, I was just mocking the idea that 1 percent of Americans stutter. If that were true they wouldnt be so ignorant/confused. I know they rarely encounter it. You handeled that well. The fact they always imitate us in a group means they are trying to embarass us around others or hurt our social status with some wierd power dynamic. The best way to handle anything like that is by showing someone there will be social conquences for their actions. They themselves are doing it thinking it might benefit their social level or make them feel dominant over you. You didnt allow that.
