It's *never* been an issue for me. Granted it's relatively minor (6 years of speech therapy!) but does come out more when I'm nervous or on certain letters. Guy I'm dating made a not-so-nice comment on our first date (joke that landed poorly; he felt horrible after) but aside from that hiccup, nobody has ever said anything while on a date. If they said something rude or nasty, it would be an automatic write-off.
