I agree with goodnightnow's comment. But i find it more a bad habit that's hard to change. I can compare it to weightloss. They follow diets, remove all carbs or another essential part of a healthy diet. They lose weight and then start eating "normal" after that. After that first pasta or carbs intake they gain almost the full amount of fat they lost. And wondered what happened. You can get rid of your stammer but you need to take good care of the fact that if your not careful that stammer can come back (so managing is correct here). Example: If you stutter for 23 years in a row. You can't expect to get rid of it and for it to never come back. Its a habit you did and the habits of a person are things that are the hardest to change. It will turn into a new habit in the future but that will take time. That's why speech therapy is so essential at young age, since that habit is only there for a few years and is easier to change then later on. Same with a good education, start early and benefit later.
