I completely agree with your point about this being a depressing subreddit. It really is. Nearly every post is a defeated person venting. I feel like in the past few years especially, Reddit has been flooded with people who are quite young - perhaps because of Reddit reaction videos - you can really tell it in their tone and writing. Most people just need to go through life and experience it a bit more before they settle for the idea that having a speech impediment is living hell.
