When I turned your age, I was so aware of my stutter and self conscious. Now that I'm 22, it's one of the last things I worry about; trust me when I tell you that it does get better. There are so many issues you can have in this life, and you should never beat yourself up for being different in anyway. Chances are, you, me, and everyone else in hear will stutter for the rest of our lives. I wouldn't wish to not have this quirk even if given the option. Just be kind to yourself and live by your own rules. You don't have to be the "life of the party" or the super-social butterfly who everyone likes. If you don't like ordering food a certain way, don't. If you don't like grocery store lines, use self checkout. The list goes on... TLDR: It gets better. Don't pay so much attention to it. Anyone who does clearly hasn't gotten much out of their education if they even had one at all
