It doesn’t happen often but it did happen to me. I was talking on the phone with an older gentlemen(I work the front desk at a dental office) and after I was done speaking he started to stutter but in a mocking way. The next week the guy came into the office and asked who he spoke to on the phone. I told him it was me and the guy said ,”you need to stop faking a stutter on the phone. You’re a liar and a faker.” I was on the verge of tears and wanted to leave the office but I couldn’t. That was probably the worst interaction I’ve had with another person in regards to my stutter.
