Anyone have this happen to them where they’re fluent with people you know but are stuttering with people you don’t know?

Anyone have this happen to them where they’re fluent with people you know but are stuttering with people you don’t know? So to make it a long story short I don’t stutter at all when I’m with my parents, I speak fluently and same with friends and my gf but when it’s with random people I end up having a terrible block stutter Does therapy help with this and also wondering how much adhd comes into play because I have it mildly so wondering if medication would help as I’ve never taken medication for it
