Mouth taping before bed??

Mouth taping before bed?? I’ve recently started breathing exercises and was told that putting a piece of surgical tape over my mouth before bed can enhance your breathing. It forces you to breathe through your nose and as a mouth breather I figured I’d give it a shot. I tend to hold my breath a lot during speech, especially when I feel I’m going to block or stammer over a word. This results in a pattern of holding my breath subconsciously and more tension in my speech, even when I’m not blocking or stammering. I know that my stutter is in large mental, but fluidity in breath is appealing and I think it would help. Anyone else try this? I’d love to get some input, thanks (: -Taylor, 25 Female Mild-stutter
