What this guy said is 100% accurate. Go out and find hobbies you enjoy. More often than not, you'll make friends who are like-minded. For in person hobbies, I've gotten very into Warhammer this past year. I've even began my own commission based painting service. That requires some face to face when meeting clients. Another hobby I started a few years ago is streaming on twitch / tiktok. It's odd that I stutter significantly less online than in person. Sure it's still there, but it's bearable. I've even got a small following of fans, so clearly not everyone cares about the stutter.
