Do you actively tell people about your stutter? Why / why not?

Do you actively tell people about your stutter? Why / why not? I've had a stutter all my life and have only really told a few people about it, next to no one at my job. It's only slight / moderate which is probably why I don't. I do get the feeling that if I opened up to say, all my coworkers, they / my boss would not give me the same opportunities as I get now. Do you actively tell people about yours stutter? Why /why not?
