Thanks for Replying! Really sounds like we’re in the same boat, somewhat comforting! I listened to Lee Lovetts videos in my car a while ago, I can’t remember everything, but he gives something like 13 tools to choose from and focus on. I guess his message is similar, remove the intention to speak fluently by focusing on implementing something else into your speech. I think his book is actually sitting about 2m away from me right now. But I bought the book at a time when I transitioned into my ‘comfortable job’ and never really felt the need to read it. As of tomorrow, I’m starting a new position and I don’t know if I’ll have to make phone calls or speak to new people. But I’ll try my best to see these as opportunities to enjoy speech, rather than stammering fear.
